Composite Stator

A Harmony Brought by Joint Development

The Eco Stator is an energy-saving device developed by Fluid Techno Co., Ltd., installed radially on the stern tube ahead of the propeller to control the aft flow and enhance thrust.
The Composite Stator, jointly developed by Nakashima Propeller and Fluid Techno, utilizes GFRP (Glass Fiber Reinforced Plastic) material. Leveraging the properties of GFRP, the cross-sectional profile and angle of attack of each stator blade can be adjusted to achieve an optimal shape. Additionally, steel boots allow for easy installation onto the hull. (Joint patent obtained)
