Nakashima Propeller Co., Ltd. (hereinafter “the Company”) recognizes the importance of protecting personal information and hereby establishes this Privacy Policy (hereinafter “this Policy”). We are committed to appropriately handling personal information in accordance with this Policy. The definitions of terms used herein shall conform to those stipulated by the Act on the Protection of Personal Information of Japan.
1.Acquisition of Personal Information
The Company acquires personal information in a proper and lawful manner, after clearly indicating the purpose of use, and never through deception or other improper means.
2. Use of Personal Information
The Company uses personal information only within the scope necessary to achieve the following purposes. If we intend to use personal information for purposes not listed below, we will obtain the prior consent of the individual.
Processing orders and deliveries for products and services
Providing information about events, products, services, and promotional activities
Analyzing browsing history and app usage to develop or propose products and services, and to provide relevant information
Responding to inquiries and requests, including sending relevant materials
Fulfilling contractual obligations and exercising rights related to transactions
Managing and providing information on the proper use, quality, safety, and effectiveness of products and services
Collecting information necessary for business operations, delivering services, and contacting users
Assessing and contacting applicants for recruitment purposes
Conducting internal communications, attendance management, payroll, expense reimbursement, workforce planning, performance evaluation, skill development, employee welfare, and occupational health and safety, as well as fulfilling obligations under labor, tax, and social welfare laws
However, the above does not apply in the following cases:
When required by law
When necessary to protect life, body, or property and obtaining the person’s consent is difficult
When particularly necessary for improving public health or promoting the sound development of children and it is difficult to obtain consent
When cooperation with government agencies or local authorities is required for legally mandated operations and obtaining consent may impede the execution of such operations
When provided to academic research institutions for academic research purposes (including partial research purposes), except in cases where such use may unduly infringe upon individual rights and interests
Any other cases permitted by law
3. Safe Management of Personal Information
The Company complies with applicable laws and regulations concerning personal information protection. We implement appropriate and necessary measures to prevent unauthorized access, leakage, loss, or damage to personal information.
Organizational Security Measures: A Personal Information Protection Manager is appointed and oversees the appropriate handling and supervision of personal information.
Personnel Security Measures: Employees receive education and training on the secure handling of personal information.
Technical and Physical Security Measures: Information systems used to manage personal data are protected against unauthorized access and malicious software.
4. Outsourcing of Personal Information Handling
If the Company outsources all or part of personal information processing to a third party, we will conduct due diligence on the contractor and ensure proper supervision to safeguard the information.
5. Provision of Personal Information to Third Parties
The Company will appropriately manage personal information and will not provide it to third parties except in the following cases or with the individual’s prior consent:
When required by law
When necessary to protect life, body, or property and obtaining the person’s consent is difficult
When particularly necessary for improving public health or promoting the sound development of children and it is difficult to obtain consent

Other cases permitted by law
The following cases do not constitute provision to a third party as defined above:

When personal data is provided as part of business succession due to mergers or other reasons
When personal data is shared with specific parties, provided that the individual is notified in advance (or the information is made readily accessible) of the scope of shared use, items of data to be shared, the purpose of use, and the name, address, and representative (in the case of corporations) of the party responsible for management
6. Use of Cookies
The Company uses cookies to improve customer experience and for advertising and promotional purposes.

However, if the identity of the requester cannot be confirmed, we will not process the request.

A fee of 800 JPY applies for requests involving notification of usage purposes or disclosure procedures.
8. Compliance with Laws and Regulations / Changes to This Policy
The Company complies with applicable Japanese laws and other relevant regulations concerning the handling of personal information. We regularly review and strive to improve this Policy.
Please note that this Policy may be revised without prior notice.
Unless otherwise specified, the revised Policy shall become effective from the time it is published on this website.
