Nakashima Propeller was founded in 1926 as Nakashima Foundry and will celebrate its 100th anniversary in 2026. To mark this milestone, we launched a 10-year vision in 2016 to become an “Optimal Propulsion Performance Creator.” As of 2024, we have nearly achieved our goals through the development of new products and the strengthening of partnerships. We are not merely a propeller manufacturer — we are a unique, total solution provider. Now, we look ahead to 2036. Aiming for carbon neutrality, we seek to enhance fuel efficiency and maneuverability, ultimately increasing the lifetime value of vessels. Our new slogan is “Specialists in Propelling Ships Forward.” With our technology, which holds a 30% share of the global market, we can significantly contribute to global environmental conservation by improving fuel efficiency. Driven by our philosophy — “If it's worth doing, we take the initiative” — we will continue to take on challenges in the fields of propulsion and maneuvering, striving to remain a company second to none.
