The Nakashima Group (hereinafter referred to as “the Group”) recognizes that ensuring information security is one of the critical issues for conducting its business activities in a proper and smooth manner. Accordingly, the Group has established this Information Security Policy (hereinafter referred to as “the Policy”) as a guideline to protect all information and the devices, facilities, and services used to handle such information (hereinafter collectively referred to as “information assets”) held by its subsidiaries (hereinafter referred to as “subsidiaries”). The Group shall implement and promote the Policy as outlined below.

INFORMATION SECURITY POLICY

  1. The Group aims to earn the trust of its customers, business partners, affiliates, and society at large.
  2. The Group shall implement appropriate personnel, organizational, and technical measures in order to protect and maintain its information assets against information leaks, theft, loss, destruction, unauthorized access, malfunctions, and disasters.
  3. The Group shall comply with laws and regulations related to information assets, various guidelines and standards, as well as security-related contractual requirements and obligations with customers.
  4. The Group shall provide necessary security education to those who utilize the Group’s information assets and strive to enhance and maintain their awareness of information security.
  5. The Group shall establish rules concerning information security, build a system for the operation and management of information security, and continuously carry out activities including maintenance and improvement.
  6. In the event of a security incident, the Group shall promptly investigate the cause and implement countermeasures to minimize the impact.
  7. This Policy shall apply to all individuals who utilize the Group’s information assets, including officers, employees, contract employees, temporary staff, and part-time workers affiliated with the Group.
  8. This Policy shall be made public and notified to all individuals who utilize the Group’s information assets following a resolution by the Board of Directors of Nakashima Holdings Co., Ltd., and shall also be disclosed to the general public.
